I was laying in bed trying to get some rest for tonight's party (everyone's invited - details here), when it hit me!!! The Hayden Necklace is JewelMint's next Celebrity Guest Curator piece! It totally makes sense...
Well-known for her activism, Hayden Panetieere is the spokeswoman for The Whalesman Foundation ("an oceanic research, conservation, and
production organization dedicated to preserving and protecting dolphins,
whales, and their ocean habitat."). Think "Save The Whales" except now it's "Save The Whales Again". The Hayden Necklace, well, it looks like a whales tail! Coincidental? I think not. I personally think Hayden Panettiere is a perfect fit!
Here's another look at the details of the Hayden Necklace from JewelMint.com:

"Take to the sea and be seen! Our marine design features a crystal embellished whale fin pendant for a coastal vibe. Hanging on a 20” rolo chain, this ocean wonder boasts pink, blue, and purple crystals. The necklace, with stone detail and a brass casting, looks like it was lost at sea, waiting for you to dive right in and discover this buried treasure."
On a side note, I was also trying to think of other celebrities with the name "Hayden". The only other option I could think of was Hayden Christensen. I mean, Rachel Bilson is a past JewelMint Guest Curator Alumni (Rachel Earrings). She's always being spotted wearing StyleMint shirts and JewelMint jewelry, and does she not just happen to engaged to him? However, Christensen has been linked to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.
For those of you who don't remember, Christopher Reeve was most notoriously known for playing Superman back in the day. Reeve joined forces with the American Paralysis Foundation to function as the Christopher Reeve Foundation (dedicated to spinal cord injuries and paralysis) after a horse-riding injury and prior to his passing. Therefore, Christensen's foundation would have been a better fit for something heroic, like say...the Cavalier Pendant? Maybe I'm thinking too much into this, but I think JewelMint should look into it being a future possibility. ;)

But like I was saying, I do think Panettiere is next month's curator! She just has to be! What are your thoughts?
