Photo: JewelMint (altered with red center stones by Lily)
So by now you must know I'm totally obsessed with JewelMint's Very Audrey Earrings - as you can see in some of my posts here, here, and here. By golly, I even went as far as turning a pair into a necklace (here)! As you can see, I'm not well. lol
In fact, awhile back I brought up the topic of how lovely it would be for JewelMint to create a red crystal center version of the Audrey's for the holidays! I even went as far as altering the photo myself to show you what they would potentially look like (above). Yes, I told you I was obsessed. :)
It's even been a topic of discussion during our Wednesday Night JewelMint Jabber events that I host here on this blog every Wednesday Night starting at 6pm PST. Everyone seems to be loving the idea, and others have even declared that they would purchase the Audrey's in every single color of the rainbow, if possible!
So here's the deal: This petition is all in good fun. Sign it if you would love to see the Very Audrey Earrings available with a red center stone! On July 1st, 2011 I will pass this petition link on over to JewelMint (for fun), just to show Kate and Cher how much we care. :)
To sign the petition: Simply leave a comment below as to why you would love to see a red stone version of the Audrey Earrings along with your first name and email address.
Giveaway: One person will be chosen at random (using Random.org) to win any one (1) JewelMint piece of their choice from the comments below! Please don't forget to enter your email address to be entered. The winner will be announced on July 1st, 2011, just in time for the new July Collection Release! Contest ends: June 30, 2011 at 9pm PST. Open to U.S. residents only. This giveaway is sponsored by the Jewels&Mints blog, the winner will be announced at the July JewelMint & StyleMint Launch Party which begins on June 30th, 2011 at 10pm PST (more details to follow).
Don't necessarily like the Very Audrey's with a red stone, but still want to enter the contest? Simply comment "Not really my style" below along with your first name and email address to be entered to win!
Good luck everyone!
xoxo, Lily

The Very Audrey Earrings (Red Crystals) Petition!
Dear JewelMint,
We love you. You know that. But ohhhh, how we very much need the Very Audrey Earrings with a Red Crystal Center for the upcoming holiday season! We've signed this petition to show you how ever so grateful we would be for such a thing!!! Our lives would be complete. Thank you. <3
Love, Us (JewelMint-ers)
I would love to see the Very Audrey Earrings with a red stone because it would be a awesome gift for someone special for Christmas. I know Christmas is far but I can't help but start shopping now!

Kikiboomer5647_13@yahoo.com
I like the design, and the red stone is indeed perfect for the holidays as I tend to wear red/green to holiday parties. Plus my birthstone is the garnet, and while this red stone isn't as dark, it would be just fine too ;)
ReplyDeletemicaela6955 at msn dot com
Love the red color. It would bring such a surprising pop of color to LBD during the Holidays :) I imagine it looking cute with some fall dresses also.
ReplyDeleteSo excited! Thanks Lily.
Nikkitran408@yahoo.com
The red center stone would be absolutely stunning not just for the holidays, but even for everyday wear. These earrings are that pretty. Keeping my fingers crossed! Thanx, Jewelmint and Lily!!!
ReplyDeleteoliveoyle625@gmail.com
red would make these earrings look soo classic. this pairing would work with so many outfits too i'd love it! thanks lily!! :)
ReplyDeletexxm4n64_6urlxx@yahoo.com
Like everyone already said, these would be perfect for Winter time... but also they'd pop with some dark red lipstick ;). Love them!
ReplyDeleteRed would be lovely, but what I'd really like to see is Very Audrey 2.0 as an earring jacket with interchangeable center stones.
ReplyDelete--Michele W
They would be perfect for everyday wear and to switch things up a bit with a tiny pop of color. I think they would be great as a gift for your bridesmaids, especially if red is one of your wedding colors!
ReplyDelete-Christi

These would be perfect for around the holiday season! They remind me of poinsettias!
ReplyDelete-Kristin

The red crystal would make the earrings have a wonderful festive look as well as some nice contrast to the white petals of the flower. Love the idea!

I love just about any version of the Very Audrey's! I have the originals, am looking forward getting a pair with the black center, and would certainly pick up a pair with a red center too!
ReplyDeleteNot really my style, but JM can definitely make various colors for the Audrey fans to choose from. Say, green center stones for St. Patrick's Day? :)

The pop of red adds a little something special to the earrings. It's classy but fun!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see the Very Audrey Earrings with a red stone. For me, it would work year round as I have [dyed] red hair! The style of the earrings are so elegant, the red bit of color would look great with the overall design.

These earrings would be perfect for the holidays with a red crystal! They would look like mini poinsettias. I think that Jewelmint should make a matching necklace as well and sell it as a pretty set!
ReplyDeletetracysakon@gmail.com
I'd love a red centered Audrey....it's my favourite colour and named for my favourite Lady. Do please consider it Cher and Kate. Thanks! x
ReplyDeleteRed is my absolute favorite color, and I would snap those up in a minute if they were actually available!!!
ReplyDeletePam
pseabolt@aol.com
Would love to see these for the holidays, Valentine's Day, or any time I want to add some red to my outfit without actually wearing red. I also love Michele W.'s comment above about making the Very Audreys into earring jackets!
ReplyDeleteJessica
jessica.walcott@gmail.com
I already own the original Very Audrey and I am obsessed! It would be so cute to own a pair inspired by the holiday season. These earrings already remind me of poinsettias!
ReplyDeleteDiane
dburlhis@gmail.com
the red very audreys would be not only perfect for the holiday season, but if they came in red, just think of how much they would look like poinsettias! yeah exactly
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the idea of the Audreys with a ruby red stone. They would be reminiscent of poinsettias which would be phenomenal for the winter season as the go to accent piece. Also the color palette popular for winter generally consists of jewel tones and these will pop against them.
ReplyDeleteErin
Erinleehewitt@yahoo.com
I don't think I'll jump on the red ones in particular, but I love the idea of the VAs in different colors! I CANNOT wait for the black-centers to come out because they are the perfect version for me. I know a lot of girls would love the red ones, so I'm definitely in support of this petition :)
ReplyDeleteabigail.souder@gmail.com
I love the earrings. The pop of red would be great!

I've been wanting the Very Audreys for such a long time and so far, it's never in stock. =( Please bring it back! But I think the red stone center is a beautiful idea, it would catch anyone's attention. Thanks for doing this blog, it's so helpful! I was looking all over for a list of the entire Jewel Mint collection and I found it here. =D
ReplyDelete-Samantha

I would love to see the Very Audrey earrings with the red stone because it reminds me of the Garnet which is my mothers birthstone. My mother has gone through so much in the past 3 years. My step-Father has had 2 heart attacks and 1 mini stroke, he is unable to walk and take care of himself and He is only able to get a nurse part-time so the other hours of the day, my mom is taking care of him by changing his diaper and feeding him. She also works FULL-TIME and manages to come home on her lunch to check in on him. She is a STRONG women who does not complain and always has a smile on her face. She is the women I aspire to be! So if this very Audrey earring is released I would LOVE to show her how special she is for ALL that she does. :)

I think the red stone Audreys would provide a very dramatic pop of color against a LBD, and would look stunning.

The red would be super gorgeous, as it would be fantastic holiday earrings. I never had the chance to get the earrings they released, since I didn't hear of jewelmint until I saw it somewhere, was hoping they would release some soon! Would love to get my hands on one of these!

I think the JewelMint Very Audrey earrings would look ADORABLE in a red stone version. Here's why:
ReplyDelete1. Red is a HOT colour. Enough said.
2. Ruby Red is my birthstone! <3
3. Red stone earrings really make green and blue eyeballs pop.
4. While still keeping the eyes looking bright with the diamond petals of the earring.
I <3 JewelMint. Such nice quality jewelry. And I love that they do promotions--makes me so much more likely to purchase from them. I especially hope they keep that Gold Sweetheart ring! lol :)
Oh and it's really great how, for each piece of jewelry, there is a photo of someone modeling it. This gives people SUCH a better idea of how it would look in real-life; as opposed to just sitting on a table in a pic.

Ok I have already left a comment but I have to say this.....OMG only 85 comments so far???? Come on ladies!!! This is Jewelmint!!!! If we can only get 85 comments for this petition how are we supposed to even get followers to Jewelmint? I for one have gotten about 15 people to join,,,,,however I work at a store and always.....ALWAYS forget to do it the right way and get credit for their joining because I just give them the website url, but the important thing is they go on and join....we cannot get more people to join, to vote on these things so we can get them back or modified if we do not vote ourselves to get the items back or revised. Sooooooooooo common all vote vote vote....sign sign sign.....and thanks to Judy...(you know who you are) for telling me its not just JM website ....its FB and Jewels and Mints etc etc etc for the scoops and deals!!! Good luck all on the drawing......I hope I WIN!!! tee hee but all kidding aside what I say is true isn't it???? I was just taken back at the total number of people who signed as opposed to all the jewelry that is sold out so quickly that shows there a hundreds of thousands possibly of members and only 85 signed???? WOOOOOOWEEEEEEE THATS A SHAME...
ReplyDeleteRed is a "can't go wrong" colorin my opinion. These are gorgeous earings and that splash of color would be a beautiful addition!
