JewelMint Refashions! Jackie O Earrings + Morning Rain Earrings as Pendants!

A super huge thanks to Michele C. for sharing her photos with us over Facebook! Michele's first piece is a refashion of JewelMint's Morning Rain Earrings as a pendant! I LOVE that she's attached one of her earrings to a pearl necklace - it goes beautifully with the silver and light blue beads!

Michele's next refashion came from a creative seller over on eBay who turned one Jackie O Earring into a pendant as well. Here's what Michele has to say about the seller and her adorable find...

"The gal intricately weaved the yellow ribbon in and out of every link on the chain, she struggled a bit with the smaller stone because it doesn't sit 100% flat but when toyed with a bit it finally behaves. I intend to make the chain a shorter (innovating the chain without cutting it) and wear it as a choker with the smaller stone sitting in the gully of wear my neck meets my chest bone....I think this piece will make wearing the huge statement attention calling earrings justice a bit more at ease and wearable at least for me...I found they were a tad gaudy for me."

I can totally understand what Michele means by these earrings being a bit gaudy. In my opinion, the Jackie O's are statement earrings to the extreme, but with all that sparkle, they're also unbelievably mesmerizing! I'm loving how incredibly unique this is as a necklace - think of it as a little bit boho and a whole lot of glam!

A super huge thanks to Cheryl S. for sharing her JewelMint Morning Rain Earrings into a Morning Rain Necklace! You would think that Cheryl may have snipped off the back of the earring, but that's not the case at all! She was able to transform one earring into a necklace, without compromising the original design, making these earrings extra versatile.

To tell you the truth, I think I actually like these earrings more as a necklace! What do you think?

Well, I guess this confirms the "official" release of the Rosie Necklace and the Knot Without You Set. A few days ago these pieces were briefly released for an hour or two, but the links were pulled down shortly thereafter.

Two Pieces from JewelMint's Prestige Line Makes a Brief Debut! Thank you Val!

*UPDATE* This post was scheduled to post on 11/16.

A super huge thanks to Val for sending me an email a few days ago in regards to a brief release of two pieces from JewelMint's highly-anticipated, prestige line of fine jewelry.

Apparently, here is what happened. According to Val, these pieces were made available for purchase for an hour or two before being listed as sold out. These two items included the following:

The Knot Without You Set

While the links are now showing as "error" pages, we're only left to speculate two things: Either the releases were an accident or these brief releases occurred in limited-quantities to get us even more hyped up!

The question is now, will Jewel be re-releasing these pieces anytime soon? Well, I contacted JewelMint and was told that we should have received an email notification about the Rosie and Knot Without You Set Release a few days ago. I never received an email though. Did any of you receive this email? I was also told by the CS Representative that she thinks they will re-release the items again depending on customer demand.

I'm still left wondering if the release was an accident (hence the pulled links), and if an email ever was sent out to anyone...?

The Mysterious JewelMint Email - Did You Receive It This Past Weekend?

A super huge thanks to Sharon for forwarding this email to me to share with all of you!

Sharon received this email on Saturday, October 22nd. The only problem is, these pieces have been sold out for quite some time on JewelMint's website.

I took a look back through my emails from JewelMint and while some of the photos from the email look familiar to me, I can't seem to find this particular email anywhere.

It looks as though it was written back in May - the same month JewelMint released the Sierra Bracelet, Urban Warrior Ring, and Sea Breeze earrings. I do also believe the Sanskrit and Charleston Earrings were available at this time, too.

Even more mysterious is, Sharon says she contacted JewelMint Customer Service, but they didn't seem to know anything about the email she had received.

While this email may have been a glitch, it still would be nice to see some of these pieces restocked! The Charleston's are absolutely stunning.

Did anyone else receive this same email from JewelMint over the weekend?? If so, was your email identical to this one? Or, do you remember receiving this email from JewelMint in the past? :)
